This tea company VirginiaDella’s Tea is a love letter from the depths within the roots of understanding how true love through family and perseverance manifests to the apple that falls from the tree.
This beautiful sister tea company from Carson, California is a wonderful tea company that meets your needs for all phases of the day. VirginiaDella’s Tea is run by two wonderful black women by the name of Glenita & Kenya who named their company after their grandmothers. Their teas are rich in flavor and pack a punch like no other tea on the market.

Best Time of Day to Drink: Breakfast
This is my new breakfast tea, it is light, aromatic, and a bit floral. I LOVED this tea, at first I was a bit put off by the ginger and turmeric herbs just because I’ve never had the two together, but once I carefully followed the brewing instructions it was such a beautiful tea. I love how each and every single one of VirginiaDella’s Tea is tied to a specific memory, it honestly makes me a bit emotional to read the blog posts of the loving memories of these wonderful grandmothers, and reminds me of my home away from home. Its beautiful deep pink orange was a great testament to its rich and complex palette as it almost kisses a floral tea and slings you back with a soft ginger aftertaste.
Best Time of Day to Drink: Evening
Now this is a tea for Royals. This Earl Grey tastes like if you ate a blueberry creme pie with a gorgeous floral garnish. This would be wonderfully paired with perhaps some light fruit or a sweet pastry. Its smooth finish makes it great to wind down at the end of the day and is an absolute must for your cupboard.
Best Time of Day to Drink: Afternoon
Now you are in for one hell of a punch with the Heart and Sass Chai Tea. This tea packs an immense amount of flavor and is a wonderful contrast to the Earl Grey which I find a beautiful analogy to mention of the two grandmothers being described as Yin and Yang. Each Tea has its own personality within VirginaDella’s Tea. If you love Cinnamon or Chai the Heart & Sass is your new go-to. I love how potent the flavor is as it really lingers and resonates at the back of your throat waking up all your senses. The tea brews a beautiful emerald honey color packing all the heart and even more sass!
Overall If you are looking for a hidden gem and want to try something new I highly recommend VirginiaDella’s Tea as they are a heartfelt family-owned black-owned women-owned company that I couldn’t stress more to try!
