Paquita –
Crouched in between the busyness of New York nestled a delightful tea room full of peculiar and delicious teas- rushing to get to my reservation in a beat-up new york taxi I arrive fashionably late and squeeze into the packed tea shop. I sat upon a pomegranate chestnut tea with a dash of oat milk. The ambiance was so beautiful it felt like you were transported into the Victorian era of old New York- I read my art book as I reflected on all the lovely paintings I saw that day. The tea I had was tart and silky with nutty undertones. I loved this teahouse, it was filled with cozy lighting and had great service. They have beautiful sweet treats to pair with your warm cup of tea- overall the perfect place for a fall day in New York. This tea experience is one of my favorites- its cozy enough to not feel overwhelmed as a solo traveler but also they had a wide variety of teas to choose from. For any solo traveler or reader in New York, Paquita, is a perfect place to catch up with friends or an introduction before dinner. It’s in a great location with lots of buzzing restaurants around it and a beautiful tea selection, I highly recommend it for your travels in the big city!
Cheers!
